And so next Monday late evening we in the UK bid adieu to the one season only sci-fi/action thriller THE EVENT. It's been fun but the NBC show never quite recovered from its mid-season hiatus-the same fate to occur with the equally ambitious FLASH FORWARD only a year before. As the cast and crew now go their separate ways and on to their next projects we're sure, very sure, that actress Taylor Cole, who played the feisty mom/freelance assassin Vicky Roberts, aiding the ultimately pretty dorky Sean Walker (Jason Ritter), will be in a lot of interesting things to come.

With her Megan Fox'ish looks, a confident and sure of herself manner alongside a great figure (all that athletic training has paid off-and then some!) she's been carving out a good career in blockbusters like THE GREEN HORNET and Bruce Wilis's SURROGATES, as well as TV like CSI: MIAMI and HEROES. I think she would have made a fantastic WONDER WOMAN or a superior CHARLIE'S ANGEL. Alas, so far, such iconic parts are not yet on the horizon, but regardless we look forward to seeing the sexy Texan in whatvever new projects come her way...
