Which upper management BBC plonker would be stupid enough to cancel the glossy detective drama ZEN after just one run of three feature-length episodes, based on a highly successful book series worldwide, and which attracted ratings up to six million viewers each week?

Oh, the new controller of BBC 1, of course!

Here's hoping another channel like SKY will take up the option of a second series run.
