The epic fantasy series GAME OF THRONES- a conflict of power, principalities and dominion between rival warrior families in another time and place- is almost upon us (showing in the UK exclusively on SKY ATLANTIC), and, from what we've seen stills and footage-wise, it looks like the long gestation to TV via the US HBO channel has been well worth the wait, of which its creator, George R.R. Martin (currently part of a TWITTER war with other US writing talent, Damon Lindelof, over the latter and Carlton Cuse's ending to LOST!), and the book sagas huge worldwide fan base, will surely be very happy with the results of its visual translation.
