The hard edged and often quite violent US cop series DARK BLUE, created by Brit talent Danny Cannon with CSI Executive Producer/film guru Jerry Bruckheimer, and starring once "Mister Nice Guy" actor Dylan McDermott (finally getting the chance to break out into a tougher, more challenging role) as the clever infiltrator Carter Shaw, head of an elite cadre undercover team in Los Angeles who work outside of normal police procedures and jurisdictions to catch the worst of the worst in the criminal underworld, returns for its second and final season of gritty action, investigations, contacts cajoling and infiltrations, from tonight at 9pm on the UK's 5USA channel. Adding to the mix this year comes lovely ex-BATTLESTAR GALACTICA babe Tricia Helfer as new recruit, FBI Special Agent Alex Rice. Expect emotional and character fireworks galore between Shaw and Rice whilst caught up in the standard overdrive gun play!
