To celebrate today's
Mothering Sunday in the UK, here's a great couple of promo shots of one of US TVs finest modern mums, and a great representation in general for independent and family nurturing women worldwide: the UK actress Lena Headey (soon to be seen in HBO's epic GAME OF THRONES) as the spirited American kick-ass warrior/heroine Sarah Connor, protectorate not only to her in hiding and constantly being pursued son, John, but also to Humanity, of whom, in the not too distant future, he'll fearlessly command legions of their remaining forces against the all-controlling, exterminating and planet wrecking devastation wrought by the villainous man-made computer system, SKY-NET, and its lethal instruments of terror: the TERMINATORS, as seen in James Cameron 's world phenomenon four action movie series, THE TERMINATOR, and, more recently for a new generation of fans, in the smaller scale, but also popular, weekly TV series from WARNER BROTHERS: TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES.
