PLOTS AND PARANOIA: THE BIRTH OF "RUBICON"

It may not have fared so well with American viewing audiences in its one and only season run of thirteen episodes on the US AMC channel, but any chance of having an intelligent, stylish thriller series to watch will certainly grab my attention and deserves highlighting on KOOL TV, and RUBICON, a modern take/homage to the wonderful conspiracy thriller movies of the seventies like THE PARALLAX VIEW or THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR, beginning its run on the UK's BBC 4 tonight, sounds likes its worth tuning into, and has the excellent young actor James Badge Dale (from 24 and THE PACIFIC) in the leading role, whose intelligent book worm/code-breaker like characters investigation into his friends death, and that of a billionaire, unravels and brings to the surface a dangerous series of revelations worldwide from within the dark and dangerous arena that is the US intelligence community.
