With Martin Scorsese's acclaimed 1930's prohibition/gangster epic for the US HBO channel, BOARDWALK EMPIRE, continuing to win fine critical and audience plaudits in its exclusive UK transmissions on the SKY ATLANTIC channel, I thought it might be nice to break away from the KOOL TV norm and post these lovely and evocative pieces of promotional artwork that HBO originally used to launch the series in the US (key art which probably wouldn't see the light of day in UK published magazines or general advertising because few people can afford to take creative risks these days-it seems that playing it safe is the new in-thing!)
