UK fans of the adventures of Steve McGarrett (the sturdy and dependable action hero as played by Alex O'Loughlin) and his HAWAII FIVE-O team, now reaching the mid-point of its second season on SKY ONE HD, have some shocks and surprises in store for them with the return of their dreaded nemesis Wo Fat (Mark Dacascos). Having previously fled Hawaii, the crime-lord businessman with long-stretched hands reaching out into the heart of the island paradise's underworld, is determined to wreak revenge, with Steve at the top of his payback list as he activates a deadly plot in the North Korea set action fest that is episode ten: Ki'ilua. And as the plot thickens, just who or what is the mysterious Shearbourne? And how is it all linked to the McGarrett family, and Steve's relationship with his army mentor, Joe White (Terry O'Quinn)? Is Joe helping or hindering Steve in his search for the truth? All will be revealed in a most anticipated way as we head towards the explosive season finale.

A shock for Steve (Alex O' Loughlin) in the upcoming episode Mai Ka Wa Kahiko.
Can Steve still trust his old friend, Joe (Terry O'Quinn)?
Chin Ho (Daniel Dae Kim) gets hitched in Alaheo Pau'ole. Aw, bless...

Alongside all that, other singular episode tales in this confident and fast paced new year, now with its own identity away from the original Leonard Freeman created series, include a hostage situation involving drug dealers kidnapping a school bus packed with children, a deadly con artist who preys on the family of a missing son, and the emergence of a dirty cop from Danno's past. On the lighter side of things, Danno, well played as ever by Scott Caan (his "bromance" with Steve one of the series highlights), also gets the chance to be a mid-wife, and there's the charming wedding of Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim) to the lovely Malia (Reiko Aylesworth), too. Plus, future top name guest stars including the return of Tom Sizemore as Captain Vincent Fryer, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Yakuza boss Hiro Nashimori, alongside THE EVENT's Ian Anthony Dale as his son, Adam, whilst newcomers awaiting their flower necklaces include actor/comedian Dennis Miller, NYPD BLUE's Gail O'Grady and Scott Caan's legendary father, James, filming sometime in February- definitely an episode to look forward to.
